IMTA Alum Burt Grinstead co-stars with Susan Blakely and Mary Wilson in the short film SPEAK, with casting by IMTA VIPs Patrick Baca, CSA and Shana Landsburg, CSA. SPEAK will have its world premiere in Mumbai, India in a couple of weeks at the Kashish Festival. SPEAK was also selected for the California Independent Film Festival in September, and on June 25, it will make its U.S. premiere in OUT HERE NOW, the Kansas City LGBT Film Festival where it is nominated for Best Short Film.

Burt competed at IMTA in New York in 2010 where he was awarded Male Actor of the Year and Male Fitness Model of the Year.  He trained with Joan Stephens and placed for management with Rachel Rothman of Rothman / Andres Entertainment by Patrick Baca. He is represented theatrically by Craig Holzberg, Avalon Artists, Los Angeles.

Burt just wrapped ROGER CORMAN'S DEATH RACE 2050. Look out for Burt in NCIS: Los Angeles, The Mentalist, NCIS, Hallmark's "Looking for Mr. Right" and Hallmark's "Hometown Hero." Burt starred in the independent movies SEBASTIAN and EAT WITH ME (also cast by Patrick Baca, CSA & Shana Landsburg, CSA). SEBASTIAN is currently traveling in a worldwide film festival circuit. EAT WITH ME is available for streaming on Netflix.

Burt next stars in "Fool for Love," directed by Will Bradley and Cecilia Fairchild as part of the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival, June 3 - June 26 at the LGBT Center's Davidson./Valentini Theatre in Hollywood. Tickets available via Hollywood Fringe. In 2014, Burt was nominated for the LA Weekly's 2 Person Performance Theatre Award for his work in the stage production of "Dying City" at the Rogue Machine Theatre.
