We recently heard from Kristen Gruber, the Mom of a L.A. 2014 IMTA Contestant. She wanted to share what competing at IMTA meant to her daughter Erin:
Erin Milan Gruber, age 13 competed at IMTA LA 2014 with Seattle Talent. She got 16 call backs, and performed in the talent showcase for her singing. Although she went in excited about the singing, once she hit the runway, she knew that was something she could really be passionate about. She has signed with MMG NY and TCM in Seattle. Besides the modeling she is working with Marty Shannon of Moorpark Studios in writing and producing her first song, which should be out this summer and is also being mentored by Watersound Entertainment in preparation for a future singing career. IMTA was amazing and it’s the best thing she could have done. It helped her focus her career aspirations and gave her a glimpse into the entertainment industry. She is excited to go again when she turns 17, this way she will be attending in a different age category and will have more experience behind her.
Thank you Kristen and Erin for taking the time to share your thoughts and experience with IMTA. We look forward to hearing more about Erin's career!
